In Loving Memory of Sharon Ann Sorenson

Jan. 31, 1958 — Nov. 23, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Sorenson on Nov. 23, 2023. Born in eastern Oregon on Jan. 31, 1958, Sharon lived a life filled with purpose and dedication to both her community and loved ones. Sharon, a local Post Falls businesswoman and real estate investor, contributed significantly to the growth and vibrancy of the area. Her involvement with the Post Falls Chamber and unwavering support for the Post Falls food bank showcased her compassionate heart and commitment to helping those in need. When not dedicated to her many local endeavors, Sharon found solace in the serenity of water, enjoying relaxing vacations to far-off tropical destinations.

In 1991, Sharon graduated from the University of Idaho with a master's degree in education/counseling and human services. Later in life, she became a certified public accountant (CPA). Although she didn't advertise her services, Sharon willingly offered her expertise free of charge to friends and relatives, always ready to assist with their tax questions.

Sharon was preceded in death by her loving parents and brother. She is survived by her two sisters, one brother, her children, Keith and Jennifer, their spouses, four granddaughters and two grandsons. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Living on the Spokane River brought immense joy to Sharon's life. Her love for the water, coupled with a passion for learning new things every day and a strong dedication to community service, defined her character. Sharon's legacy of kindness, generosity, and community spirit will be remembered fondly by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A memorial service to celebrate Sharon's life will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Bell Tower Funeral Chapel, 3398 E. Jenalan Ave. Post Falls, ID 83854. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Post Falls food bank in Sharon's honor.

May Sharon rest in eternal peace.
