Haldo 'Quint' Sidney Fredrickson, 49

| December 7, 2023 1:00 AM

Haldo Sidney (Quint) Fredrickson V was born May 24, 1974, in Kalispell, Mont., and passed away Nov. 23, 2023, at home in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Quint lived in Kalispell until after second grade, when he moved to Whitefish, Mont. In 1986, the family moved to Coeur d’Alene, where Quint spent the rest of his life.

Quint was a journeyman electrician for most of his career. He worked for several different companies. He also spent some time working at the Kroc Center after it opened.

Quint had three boys who were the light of his life. They loved spending time outdoors together in the forest, where he was always the happiest. He was an avid lover of pit bulls and had many throughout his life along with pit bull mixes. He was like the dog whisperer and had many adventures with his kids, dogs and friends in the forests around Cd’A.

Quint didn’t meet anyone who didn’t become a friend, and he would do anything in his power to help anyone in need. He had the biggest heart and loved big. He was never afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve. That’s how he was able to affect and influence all that he met. He loved big and was loved by everyone who knew him. He had an amazing sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his father, H. Sid Fredrickson. He is survived by his sons, Skyler (Lina) Fredrickson, Chase and Dylan Fredrickson; his grandchildren, Renly and Nellie Fredrickson; his mother, Birdee Fredrickson; sisters Misty (Lanny) Lemburg and Theresa Knott; nephews Colt (Sierra), Justin and Matt Fridley, Jacob and Joshua Atkisson, Gabe Hoekema; and niece Samantha Borley. He also leaves behind numerous cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
