Loftin, a sophomore, went 7-0 on the weekend, winning the 103-pound title at the Sidney Invitational on Saturday night. Loftin won by a 12-3 major decision in the championship match. “Gage just started wrestling when he was in the eighth grade,” Post Falls coach Pete Reardon said. “He’s a hard working, great kid and just wanted to be part of the culture. He stepped up, had a great weekend, won the tournament and just wrestled hard the entire weekend.”
