Rhythm and Blues Cruise Aug. 30 on Lake Cd'A
Only 250 tickets are available for a musical cruise on Lake Coeur d'Alene by Too Far North Productions 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 30, aboard the Mish-An-Nock.
The Funk’n HumpDay Sunset Cruise is all about rhythm and blues and will feature SideStep with Max Daniels, as well as a full bar onboard.
“SideStep with Max Daniels are expert at the funky and old school R and B, along with smooth jazz and Motown,” Too Far North CEO Craig Heimbigner said. “This act is a dream combination of master entertainer and excellent musicians.”
Max Daniels is the very popular frontman and leader of the Motown funk band Nu Jack City, and SideStep is a trio formed from the R and B roots of Mumbo Jumbo and Step Brothers.
Trio members are Danny McCollim on keys, Jon Goforth on saxophone and Pat Barclay on guitar.
“All these names are known in the Inland Northwest for their musical skill and ability to bring the party,” Heimbigner said. “This is such a rare and special group coming together.”
Boarding begins at 5:30 p.m. at Independence Point, 105 Northwest Blvd., Coeur d’Alene.
Tickets are available online at toofarnorthproductions.com for $36.
