REGAN: Engages in ‘doublespeak’

In one of his latest propaganda pieces, KCRCC’s chairman, Brent Regan, painted a masterpiece of projection and deflection by telling you exactly who he is … by accusing others of doing the things he has done, blatantly and repeatedly.

He asks if a person’s professional life should be ruined and their ability to provide for their family should be eliminated (canceled) because of a comment or belief. And yet, his entire purpose is to promote and endorse elected officials who do precisely that professionally. The people he’s gotten elected went on to fire or suspended two NIC presidents literally without cause for simply having a different point of view. The KCRCC maligned and slandered two successful, longtime library network trustees because they did not give in to manufactured outrage.

He complains “Marxists” say, “Free speech has the limitations we say it has. Think or say what is not approved and you will pay the price,” after legally challenging anyone other than his KCRCC for daring to call themselves Republicans.

He also has a practiced hand at “doublethink” and “doublespeak.” He declares simultaneously that “America’s strength comes from equality of opportunity where diverse elements combine,” but that the “Marxists’” goals are to destroy America by promoting diversity. It’s always “Don’t look behind the curtain!” with Regan. He relies on you being too stupid to see the blatant hypocrisy and self-loathing in his weekly screeds.

By the way, he should look up who started our Cancel Culture. Freedom Fries, anyone?
