Enjoy blues on a cruise Aug. 30

SideStep with Max Daniels will perform Aug. 30 aboard the Mish-An-Nock during the Rhythm and Blues Sunset Cruise.

Boarding begins at 5:30 p.m. from Independence Point, 30 minutes before departure.

Festival favorites, SideStep with Max Daniels play funky and old school rhythm and blues, along with smooth jazz and motown. Daniels is the well-known frontman and leader of the Motown funk band Nu Jack City. SideStep is a trio formed from the R&B roots of Mumbo Jumbo and Step Brothers. Danny McCollim plays keys, Jon Goforth will be on the saxophone and Pat Barclay plays guitar.

Cruise guests must be 21 and older. ID required.

Tickets are $36.

The cruise goes from 6 to 8 p.m.
