Sheriff's office to hold Sept. 11 memorial

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with Black Sheep Sporting Goods to host a September 11 Memorial Ceremony at 11 a.m. Sept. 11 at the Silver Lake Mall, 200 W. Hanley Ave., Coeur d'Alene. The event is free event and open to the public.
The ceremony is in remembrance of the citizens and those in service who were lost in and after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
"As we move forward as a country, we will never forget their sacrifices and continue to honor them," sheriff's office administrative assistant Lisa Roberts said. "The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank Black Sheep Sporting Goods, The Silver Lake Mall and the citizens of Kootenai County for their support and attendance at this event."
Uniformed service members are encouraged to dress for the occasion.
