Ronald Thomas Drasky, 59

Ronald Thomas Drasky was born on December 18, 1963, to parents Ronald Elliott Drasky and Margaret Joann (Gannon) Drasky in Omaha, Nebraska.

Ron was diagnosed with brain cancer on May 7, 2023, and passed on August 7, 2023.

Ron is survived by the love of his life Gale Irwin, a daughter Haylen and 3 grandchildren, sisters Jodi, Christine, and Stacey all of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and brother Jay as well as nephew Bo and numerous other nephews and nieces.

Ron was an uncommonly nice and caring person whom was deeply loved and will be sorely missed. Ron will live in our hearts forever.

Thank you to all the doctors who took exceptional care of Ron. Doctors Anthony Branz, Alexander Whelan, Michael Raber, Paul White and Leah Jones.

The family would like to thank the entire nursing, CNA and kitchen staff of Life Care Center of Coeur d’Alene and Hospice of North Idaho, specifically Mitch, Pam, Cliff, John, Jake, Alex, Savion, Dana, Trish, Denise, Shannon, Gina, Gabriel, Courtney and Hospice Nurse Lacey and special angel CNA Lisa of Life Care Center of Coeur d’Alene.

A special thanks to Charlie cat, whom brought incredible comfort throughout this journey.
