NIC announces Parson as assistant wrestling coach
COEUR d'ALENE — North Idaho College announced Bryce Parson as an assistant wrestling coach Friday.
Parson was raised in Lewiston and attended Lewiston High, where he was a two-time state champion in his sophomore and senior seasons.
Parson continued his wrestling career at Oregon State from 2015 to 2017. Parson then attended North Idaho College, competed in the 2018-2019 season for the Cardinals and was named an All-American.
Parson previously coached at NIC as an assistant during the 2021-22 season.
"I am thrilled to have Bryce join the staff this year,” NIC head wrestling coach Derrick Booth said. “His passion for the sport of wrestling and North Idaho College runs deep. Bryce brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will surely make a difference for our program this season."
Parson is the brother of NIC women's soccer coach Kellsi Parson.
