Heritage Health expanding

COEUR d'ALENE — Heritage Health has signed a lease for the former U.S. Bank call center on Seltice Way.

The 60,000-square-foot facility will become the Coeur d'Alene Center for Healthy Living, a hub for most of Heritage Health's patient-centered services.

"We stand at the threshold of an incredible new era for Heritage Health and the community we serve," CEO Mike Baker said in a press release. "This monumental expansion will unify our services, aligning with our relentless pursuit of comprehensive, patient-centered excellence. It's an evolution that reflects our unwavering commitment to the health care needs of our region."

The move will allow Heritage Health "to consolidate and broaden its remarkable range of medical, dental and behavioral health services that currently serve nearly 26,000 patients across North Idaho," the release said.

The project's groundbreaking is set for early next year, with an estimated two-year completion timeline.

The Coeur d'Alene Center for Healthy Living will encompass diverse health divisions, including therapy, recovery services and dental care, along with the possibility of pediatric dental services, according to a press release

"This is more than a building; it's a beacon for wellness innovation, from our physical fitness and nutrition program, Heritage Rx, to an on-site pharmacy," Baker said.

This marks the third collaboration between Heritage Health and Parkwood Business Properties, which owns the facility.

Heritage Health has eight individual patient locations in Coeur d'Alene and 12 clinic locations in North Idaho.

Beyond Coeur d'Alene, Heritage Health continues its growth journey with plans for a Center for Healthy Living in Post Falls, following the acquisition of the Peak Health and Wellness building in late 2022. Construction in Post Falls is set for 2024.

Heritage Health has evolved since its founding in 1985. It became a federally qualified community health center in 2004.
