$30K in golf clubs reported stolen

POST FALLS — More than $30,000 in golf clubs were reportedly stolen from the clubhouse at the Links Golf Course.

According to the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office, a suspect wearing a scarf-type mask and dark clothing and gloves used a rock to smash the rear glass door of the clubhouse July 14.

The suspect, believed to be a male, entered the business twice, and took multiple golf clubs, including putters, irons and drivers before leaving around 10:30 p.m.

All told, about 100 Ping, Callaway, TaylorMade, Cleveland and Srixon clubs were taken from the clubhouse at 10623 N. Chase Road.
