David J. Tuten, 68

Dave Tuten, 68, of North Idaho, beloved husband, father, grandfather and devoted friend passed away July 31, 2023, unexpectedly.

He was a hardworking business owner and family man.

David is survived by his wife of 41 years, whom he loved dearly, Tammy Tuten; their children, Sandra Weaver and her three children, Lilly, Olyvia and Liam; Katedee Funke; Lucaus Tuten and fiancée Ronnie Schmaltz and their child, Wylder. Dave loved the sport of ice hockey and taught his kids to play. His humor lit up a room, he was the life of the party and will be missed greatly.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023, at Rathdrum City Park Pavilion from 4 to 7 p.m. Open to all who loved him.
