CDA SCHOOL LEVY: A student’s perspective

Hi, my name is Annie Wilson and I am a junior at Coeur d’Alene High School. Throughout my time at CHS I have been enrolled in honor classes, dual enrollment classes and AP classes. I can say, without a doubt, that without these classes and opportunities I would not have scored in the 90th percentile of all Idaho students, I would not have gotten a high score on the ACT and SAT, and I most certainly would not be going to college next year.

This school, these teachers, and this community are the reasons that I, and the rest of my peers, will be graduating and moving on to college and future impactful careers. Without the levy none of my accomplishments would have been possible. By not approving the levy these classes and opportunities will not be available to the children of our community. Vote yes on the levy so our siblings, friends and community can continue to have these amazing opportunities I did.
