BREAKING BREAD: Got it right
Recently some folks were upset about a quote that was put on the reader board at Breaking Bread Artisan Bistro at Fourth and Best. The quote was “To conquer a nation, first disarm its citizens” Adolf Hitler. One reader was very upset that Adolf Hitler’s name was on the sign. The quote states exactly what many are attempting to do in America — it’s called gun control. Hitler may or may not have said it, but his actions show he was a strong proponent of disarming citizens and as he did so, evil spread throughout Europe. My older brother was wounded twice in that war, my cousin gave his life so that Breaking Bread Artisan Bistro had the freedom to put that message up and I could write this letter.
My Montana loved ones and so many others gave their lives to fight for those who had their guns confiscated. So of course put his name on the reader board. The message spoke the truth and should be relayed throughout America and the entire world. This should be a solemn and fervent warning to everyone on the never ending gun control rhetoric and fear mongering by socialists. Also-please note that the Second Amendment was necessary so the First Amendment could be enforced. I applaud Breaking Bread for putting that message on their reader board. I wish they’d put it back up. And oh yes, I for one am about to become a frequent customer of Breaking Bread Artisan Bistro.
P.S. Please think about leaving reader board lit at night so the light of truth will shine in the darkness for all to enjoy.
