'Wine Extravaganza' Saturday
HANNAH NEFF/Press file photo Coeur d’Alene Fresh Wine Bar will be offering wine tastings of local wine Jones of Washington Rose’ of Syrah and imported wine Barramundi Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia during the Wine Extravaganza on Saturday in downtown Coeur d'Alene.
The annual Wine Extravaganza in downtown Coeur d'Alene is set for Saturday.
The event, put on by the Coeur d'Alene Downtown Association, offers guests a chance to stroll through local shops and select tastings from more than 50 varietals.
This year's selection of local wineries includes Rivaura Winery, Cranberry Road, Rosemary Manor and Arbor Crest Winery.
General tickets are $25 and include six tastings and a commemorative wine glass.
VIP tickets are $45 and include early check-in, access to VIP lounge, wine glass lanyard, commemorative wine glass and 10 tastings.
Tickets will be available Saturday in the Plaza Shops while supplies last.
It runs noon to 6 p.m.
Wine Extravaganza events Thursday include a Northwest regional wine tasting from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Coeur d'Alene Fresh and a Wine Extravaganza Cruise with Lake Coeur d'Alene Cruises.
The Coeur d'Alene Resort Spa is offering a Tips and Sips package, which includes a pedicure, complimentary bottle of wine and a coupon for happy hour pricing all day on drinks from Beverly's and Dockside.
