Margie Eileen Kitchen, 84

Our beautiful mother, Margie Eileen Kitchen (Knapp), received her angel wings April 11, 2023, at Schneidmiller Hospice House surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on May 13, 1938. She was the daughter of Dorothy and Richard Knapp.

Many of her favorite things to do were garage sale shopping and looking for that perfect but not fancy dress. She also loved to ask her kids when we came over to visit if she could make us a sandwich or two. She always offered a treat. Her favorite was to have her kids, grandkids, family and friends come over or even stay the night. She would say “make sure to bring your bathrobe or pj's." She enjoyed coloring and making arts and crafts with the kids. She loved all her kids, family and friends. Margie married Dewellyn Kitchen in 1957. They have four children.

She is survived by her three sons, Larry Kitchen and wife Roxy, Joel Kitchen and Robert Kitchen; daughter Debbie Johnson; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers Robert Knapp and wife, Delma, Ken Knapp, Michael Fisher and wife Lori; and sister Diane Hull and husband Don. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewellyn Kitchen; her mother, Dorothy Fisher, and stepfather Art Fisher; her dad, Richard Knapp; and her brother, Ken Knapp.

We would like to thank the Hospice team, Liz, Lisa, Melissa, Brenda and The Hospice House, for all the care and support that they did for our mom. She truly loved this team.
