| April 19, 2023 1:00 AM

Jessica Lee Harrison-Poteet, 51, passed away April 10, 2023, after having suffered a sudden brain aneurysm at her home in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was born July 21, 1971, to Richard D. and Joan N. (Dihel) Harrison. Jessica spent her 51 years loving people and “fur people” (dogs) above all else in life. She was an incredibly loving person who always said “it makes my little heart happy” when she was able to help others. Contrary to her saying, Jessica had an enormous heart and loved adding more names in it at every chance she found. Her large family was always at the core of her heart, she loved her family so very much. Jessica’s love for books was an important part of who she was as well. She surrounded herself with books at every opportunity, and even accomplished her lifelong dream of owning her own bookstore during her short time here. Jessica enjoyed a great many other things as well, including “playing” in the mountains, thrift storing, and introducing others to the joy of reading.

Jessica leaves behind many family members whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda Richardson, and her mother, Joan Dihel. Jessica leaves behind a great many surviving family members. Her husband, David Poteet of Coeur d’Alene. Her grandfather, Richard (Dick) DuFault of La Mirada, Calif. Her parents, Richard and Jeanne (Dunn) Harrison of Coeur d’Alene. Her daughter, Cynthia (Michael) Tucker and husband Aaron of Asbury, Mo. Her son, Lucas Sutton, and her stepson, Quinntin Sette, both of Chico, Calif. Her brother, Josh Harrison, and wife Myriah and their children, Deven, Rowan, Autumn and Jewel of Coeur d’Alene. Her sister, Lauren (Carson) Lederman, and her husband, Michael, and their children, Cayden and Aurora Lederman of Coeur d’Alene. Her brother, Jeremy Dunn, and his wife, Kimberly, and their children, Ariel Davitt, Makaila Hutchinson, Zaidee and Zoey Dunn of Coeur d’Alene. Her brother, Jess Richardson of Coeur d'Alene. Her sister, Adriane Terrell, and son Konner Percy of Fort Worth, Texas. Jessica also leaves behind her cousin and her first best friend, Crystal Carlson of Lynwood, Wash., and a great many more cousins.
