CDA SCHOOL LEVY: Vote yes

As a lifelong citizen of Coeur d’Alene, I know our community is only as strong as our schools. When I think about the people I want to work with in the community when I eat, shop, get my car serviced, etc. I want someone with a robust education. If we take away the levy, our whole community will suffer.

Take note, teachers take no joy in ‘asking for money’ every two years. We would like to have a sustainable model where schools are fully funded by the state. In the name of local control and freedom, schools are underfunded and the rest is left up to the local community. Please support our schools and vote yes on the levy that was created in a system where we have to come to the locals and ask for money.

And to those of you who are already voting YES, tell all your friends and neighbors to do the same!
