Comedian Paul Virzi to perform at Panida

Comedian Paul Virzi has performed at some of the most prestigious venues, such as Madison Square Garden, the Chicago Theatre and Carnegie Hall and at 8 p.m. June 8 he will be performing at the Panida Theater in Sandpoint.

“To perform at the Panida was Paul’s request,” says Lauren Sanders, managing director of the Panida. “I was talking to his agent trying to figure out how they found us and they said ‘Paul wants to play at the Panida, he has a large following in your region.’ I was blown away and super excited because my main goal is to curate events that our community wants, but it's also pretty cool to know that someone with a Netflix special and has his pick of venues is requesting to play at the Panida,” Sanders said.

Virzi’s debut hourlong comedy special, "Bill Burr Presents Pail Virzi: I’ll Say This," premiered on Comedy Central in November 2018. His second special, "Nocturnal Admissions" on Netflix, was released in June 2022 as Pete Davidson’s directorial debut.

“Paul’s stuff will resonate with everyone,” Sanders said. “Whether you are single and dating or in a relationship or you have gone off the deep end by getting married and having kids, Paul's comedy is going to hit home! He is extremely relatable on all fronts!”

Tickets start at $25 and are available now at panida.org for adults, and doors will open at 7 p.m.
