Day Shift
• Deputies handled an unattended death call. The scene was investigated and nothing suspicious was noted.
• Deputies responded to Fernan Saddle area for a report of a possible domestic dispute. After deputies arrived on scene, it was determined there was no crime committed and it was only a verbal argument.
Evening Shift
• Deputies responded to a welfare check when it was reported a male was slumped over the wheel in a parking lot. Deputies arrived on scene and eventually arrested the driver for possession of fentanyl.
• Deputies responded to a juvenile problem after a juvenile was being defiant with his father when his phone was taken from him. The father handled the situation prior to LE arrival.
• Deputies responded to the new Companions Animal Center for a welfare check on a female who was in the lobby. The female was there trying to get her cat but became unreasonable with staff. She was asked to leave and refused. She was eventually arrested for trespassing.
• Deputies responded to a verbal domestic dispute. On scene it was determined to be an argument over a firearm and making suicidal statements in the past. No crimes were committed and there were no immediate threats by either party.
Night Shift
• Several deputies responded to Rusty’s Bar for a reported fight. When units arrived on scene, they contacted a male subject who, based on some injuries, was involved in the fight. The male said he knew the other parties and would handle the situation later. The male was highly intoxicated and refused to listen to deputies. The male was warned about walking in the roadway, however he continued to not listen and walked into the roadway and was almost hit by a passing vehicle. The male was arrested for disorderly conduct (Hayden Ord.) and possession of marijuana.
• A short time later, deputies responded back to Rusty’s for an unwanted person. The manager advised that a highly intoxicated male would not leave the establishment. The male had left just prior to LE arrival and was contacted and given a ride home.
• Deputies responded to Ohio Match Road and Hayden Creek area to assist medical with a female who was having a medical issue while riding an ATV. She was airlifted from the scene by Life Flight.
• Deputies responded back to Rusty’s again, for dispute between two females. The argument was about one female wanting to walk home and the other concerned about her welfare. An Uber was called to give them rides home.
• Deputies responded to a report of a hit and run accident along Huetter Road and Prairie Avenue. The R/P heard what he thought was an explosion, and when he went to investigate, he observed the power pole bent at a 45-degree angle. Just prior to this report, a traffic hazard was called in reference to a white truck with significant damage traveling in the area. Deputies arrived on scene and found a license plate left at the scene. They then located the damaged truck and the owner at a residence in Post Falls. The owner admitted to driving and hitting the pole. The owner was charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
• Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle near Razzle’s Bar. The R/P reported a vehicle with some damage parked just to the north of the business with a male inside the vehicle. Deputies contacted the male occupant and observed obvious signs of intoxication. The driver was charged with DUI.
