Estrellita "Dahila" Oropesa Walker, 59

Estrellita “Dahlia” Oropesa Walker of Everett, Wash., went peacefully with the Lord on Sunday, April 2, 2023, surrounded by those she loved dearly. Dahlia was born September 3, 1963 in Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines, to Estrellito and Simplicia Oropesa.

In 1985, she welcomed son, Jose “Jay-R” Gian. She married in 1988 and came to America with husband, Steven Walker. In 1989, they welcomed Stella (McFarland); 1991, Stacy (Nguyen); and she had her 2000 baby, Samantha Walker.

After her divorce in 2006, she met Justin, and a few years later, they moved to Everett, Wash. They taught each other many things in 17 years and she loved him so much for understanding and loving her every day.

Dahlia is reunited with her dad, mom and brother, Francisco.

She leaves behind her two brothers, Antonio and Ricardo; her sister, Teresita; son, Jay-R (Tisoy); granddaughters, Jamel, Sitay and Tisay. As well as her nieces, nephews and extended family in the Philippines. Daughters, Stella (Josh); grandsons, Brennon, Forest and Walker; Stacy (Dat); granddaughter, Colbee; Samantha (Jordan), grandson, Kian in Idaho; her loving partner, Justin in Everett, as well as so many more friends and family that are just too many to count.

She would make instant friends with anyone she met and she would share and give that love to them all. She was truly one of a kind and will be missed dearly.

There will be a Celebration of Dahlia’s life Saturday, April 15, 2023.
