Celebrate the joy of Easter today and Sunday with fun events at locations throughout the area.

TODAY

Real Life Ministries Egg Hunt | 10 a.m. at McEuen Park, 420 E. Front Ave., Coeur d’Alene. Free traditional egg hunt for children ages 0 to fifth grade.

Real Life Ministries Egg Hunt | 10 a.m. at McIntire Park, 8930 N. Government Way, Hayden. Free traditional egg hunt for children ages 0 to fifth grade.

Easter Egg Hunt | 11 a.m. at Spirit Lake City Park, 32416 Fifth Ave. A free pre-K through third grade egg hunt at Little Park sponsored by Spirit Event Committee. Kids fourth grade and up can also come to gather eggs at City Park. The Easter bunny will be on-site for photos.

Easter Egg Hunt | 11 a.m. at Majestic Park, 5400 W. Majestic Ave., Rathdrum. A free community event, with a special guest appearance, for children up to 12 years old. Parking is limited so get there early or carpool.

New Leaf Nursery Easter Egg Hunt | 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at New Leaf Nursery, 12655 Government Way, Hayden. Children can search the nursery (hint: under the plants) to find up to 10 eggs per child, with crafts and treats for free.

St. Maries Community Easter Egg Hunt | 11 a.m. at the Benewah County Fair Association, Highway 5. A free event, rain or shine, for children 0-11. Bring a camera for a photo shoot with the Easter bunny and a basket, pail or sack for egg collection.

Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza | starting at 1 p.m. at Q’emiln Park, 12201 W. Parkway Drive, Post Falls. The Post Falls Parks and Recreation invites anyone to attend a rain or shine. Keep an eye out for an elusive golden ticket. Bring your own basket. Children will break into divisions by age to gather eggs at 10-minute intervals. For children with mobility issues or special needs up to 15 years old, gathering begins at 2 p.m.

Real Life Ministries, Traditional and Flashlight Egg Hunts | 3:30 and 8:15 p.m. at Real Life Ministries, 1860 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls. Choose between a free traditional egg hunt or an evening flashlight egg hunt for children ages 0 to fifth grade. The traditional hunt will be accessible for children with special needs.

EASTER SUNDAY

Easter Breakfast and Egg Hunt | 9:30 a.m. in the gym at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1700 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Coeur d’Alene. Rain or shine. The entire community is welcome to a free Easter breakfast and an egg hunt following at 10 a.m.

Kroc Service Egg Hunt | 10 a.m. in the Kroc Center Theatre at the Kroc Center, 1765 W. Golf Course Road, Coeur d’Alene. An all ages free egg hunt, open to anyone following Easter service, with refreshments. ​

Easter Sunday Biker Blessing | 11 a.m. at 6105 W. Seltice Way, Post Falls. Soul Patrol Ministry, Spirit Lake Chapter, presents the third year for blessings at 11 a.m. and a complimentary lunch at noon. All riders are invited.

Easter Egg Hunt | 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Harrison Park, 111 Harrison Road, Harrison. A free fun event hosted by Kids’ College with eggs in the park for all ages.

Easter Egg Hunt for Kids | 12:15 p.m. at the Vine Church, 9140 N. Reed Road in Hayden. A free Easter Egg Hunt for Kids following an Easter Sunday worship service at 10:30 a.m. Children of all ages are invited to come and have some fun.
