Entertainers Laura Sable and Bill Wiemuth will delight audiences during a musical celebration at 7 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Coeur d'Alene Public Library.

"I Write the Songs," presented by the Coeur d'Alene Public Library Foundation, will honor composers of yesteryear and the songwriters of today.

"We are so excited to be returning to perform for the Coeur d'Alene Library," Sable and Wiemuth told The Press. "It will be our first local performance in three years. This past year we have been back to entertaining on the riverboat cruises on the Mississippi River, Columbia/Snake Rivers and in Alaska, but there's nothing like the hometown crowd!"

"I Write the Songs" is a brand new show the couple is putting together just for the library event.

"For years we have wanted to create a show celebrating great composers and songwriters who we admire," Sable and Wiemuth said. "We will pay tribute to many genres and eras: Broadway, country, folk, blues, pop and more."

Audience members will know every tune as duo will perform some of the most iconic songs of all time.

Doors open at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the library.

The event will serve as a benefit for the library.

Admission is $50 and will include a beverage and dessert.
