| September 7, 2022 1:00 AM

Robert Rodric Romero Jr, 58, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away Aug. 25, 2022.

Robert was born Aug. 25, 1964, to Nancy and Robert Romero Sr in Yuba City, Calif. After graduating from Yuba City High School, Robert went on to college at Chico State. He went on to attend the University of Idaho Law school in Moscow, Idaho, meeting lifelong friends.

After graduation, Robert landed his first job as a Public Defender for Kootenai County. He eventually went into private practice partnering with Romero Brown and Carolyn Justh for several years before entering a solo practice.

Robert had two children, Roddy, who is currently attending college in North Dakota and Josefina “Jake”, who is a student in Post Falls. Robert loved to watch them compete. Robert became very active in the wrestling community in Post Falls while the kids were growing up and became a second family. That closeness of the wrestling community has transcended the kids high school years becoming a great source of support and love.

Robert was a force of nature- passionate not only about his work but also about history, politics, antiques, and reading endlessly. He looked forward to watching the 49ers every year and talking about the game with his father. He liked to travel with his family to sporting events and family vacations with his parents and children. He enjoyed driving his Landcruiser in the summer and restoring it to its former glory.

Robert was predeceased by his mother Nancy Romero. Robert is survived by his father Robert “Babe” Romero, brother Randy Romero, his children Roddy and Jake Romero, and Jennifer Romero, the children’s mother. Robert leaves behind several close friends both in Idaho and in California.

There will be a Service at Real Life Ministries on Saturday September 10, 2022 at 3:00 pm.
