A commercial building called the PACR is under construction at 1857 W. Hayden Ave.

With a sleek, modern industrial vibe with corrugated metal, stone accents and green spaces, the building will house R&R Northwest (a marine construction company) and Cadre Coeur Consulting. A 4,000-square-foot unit is available with commercial or light industrial intentions. The place will have roll doors, office space, restrooms, a second-floor mezzanine and parking.

PACR is named after Pete and Cindy Richardson with the team of Ashton Underdahl, Brandon Richardson and Cindy Richardson. The extra unit will be available in late fall or early winter through 208-691-0691.

Bottle Joy opens Friday on Sherman

A new libation place to peruse and enjoy, Bottle Joy will have its grand opening Friday at 1208 E. Sherman Ave.

Opening at 11 a.m., the celebration includes drink specials, a food truck and live music with local favorites Jip Skippy and The Unprepared and The Red Books.

The focus is on craft beer and wine from Washington, Oregon and California with six double coolers stocking the west wall and 16 taps behind the bar.

Owners Joy and Curt Grady will share hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily with 72 indoor and patio seats, two TVs and a speakeasy vibe with an upscale, eclectic, mid-century modern vibe including a 9-foot Masonic Temple chair.

Little Bear Tattoo opens Saturday

With specials of tattoos (noon to 7 p.m.) and drinks and live music (7 to 11 p.m.), Little Bear Tattoo will celebrate its grand opening Saturday at 403 N. 2nd St.

With custom tattoos (no piercing), owner Sarah Philp and staff of Cody Christmas, Jim Philp and Amanda Boik share hours of noon to 7 pm. Tuesday through Saturday or by appointment.

North Idaho Rock School event Saturday

The grand opening celebration of the North Idaho Rock School campus at 7897 Main St. (Suite 1) in Rathdrum is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The event will include grills cooking, a bounce house, face painting for kids, live music by instructors, raffle and a ribbon cutting. Owner Jacob Burrows is assisted by Elizabeth Miller and Monica Thomas.

Private lessons and group classes are offered in guitar, bass, electric, drums, ukulele, piano and voice 3 to 8 p.m. weekdays and during scheduled sessions. Another location is in Suite 10 at 213 W. Appleway in Coeur d'Alene.
