Debbie Hand-Reeser, 67

Debbie Hand-Reeser, age 67, daughter of Sue and Oscar Hand, was born June 30, 1955. She passed away peacefully from an extended illness Sept. 21, 2022, at her home in Rathdrum, Idaho.

Debbie was born in Newport, Washington and began her life long journey which took her from Blanchard, Idaho, to Elk, Wash., to Post Falls, Idaho, to Vancouver, Wash., to BC, Canada, to Alberta, Canada, to Rathdrum, Idaho, and her final resting place in BC, Canada.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Bill; a brother, Les; a sister, Connie; three sons, Jason, Shane and Trevor; a daughter, Sheila; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She always loved bragging when a new grand baby arrived.

She was blessed with a soft heart and loved her family. Her life took her from the little girl afraid of her shadow to a protective mother shooting a bear in their yard to protect her family.

She loved fishing, spending time with her dog, Coco, and looking out over the large mesmerizing meadow, with her husband, Bill, from their front porch.

Debbie’s wishes of no funeral/memorial and her ashes be sent to her children in Canada will be fulfilled. We will always carry her memory in our hearts.
