NIC CANDIDATES FORUM: Broschet, Corkill, Zimmerman showed they care

Where were the other three? I attended the NIC Trustee Forum on the evening of Oct. 5. This forum was supposed to have all six trustee candidates but only three were there. We all had other things we could have been doing with the summer-like weather this evening, meanwhile 200-plus community members took time to be at the forum.

I learned that there are three candidates for the board of trustees at NIC who truly care about the college and our community. They are: Pete Broschet, Brad Corkill and Tarie Zimmerman. They cared enough to talk to the community. The only good thing about having only three candidates present? The forum only took 30 minutes and I enjoyed a wonderful sunset while writing this letter.
