Dwight Bershaw dedication on Saturday

COEUR d'ALENE — The dedication of the Dwight Bershaw memorial area at McEuen Park is set for 1 p.m. Saturday.

There will be guest speakers, music and the unveiling of the final stone to complete the site that includes a stone bench, table, path and landscaping.

Bershaw died Aug. 20, 2021, at the age of 54. He was known for his big smile, spirit, generosity and love of Coeur d'Alene.

He volunteered often and was a popular member of the Sunrise Rotary Club.

The memorial area funded and worked on by Coeur d'Alene Sunrise Rotary Club is between two tamarack trees that will bear his name and a picture will go at the base of Tubbs Hill.

The public is welcome to join the dedication.
