NIC ELECTION: Vote for Hartman, Sheridan and Waggoner

I was shocked the other day when I got a mailer from “Friends of NIC” that looked just like the traditional mailers the Republican Party send me. These “Friends of NIC” people are not to be trusted. Members of that same gang were behind the accreditation scam, and then they weaseled their way into control of the board by thwarting the voters and using political influence. During the primary, they lied to the Secretary of State’s office and were fined the maximum allowed under the law. Now they are trying to trick us into voting for their candidates with copycat mailers. They continue to lie that NIC was and is at risk of losing accreditation. All requests, save for the appointment of one more administrator, were easily accomplished.

I am voting for the good and qualified candidates who are in it for the right reasons and will represent “we the people” and not just the “Downtown Crowd.” I won’t be voting for any candidate that is violating copyright laws, or who cheats and lies. I am voting for education, not indoctrination.

On Tuesday, Nov. 8 I’m voting for Ron Hartman, Diana Sheridan and Mike Waggoner. I am a former school trustee myself and I have met and talked to all three. They are very impressive and will be excellent trustees. They will bring sanity and stability to the NIC board.

I urge you to vote for Ron Hartman, Diana Sheridan and Mike Waggoner on Nov. 8.
