NIC ELECTION: Vote Broschet, Corkill and Zimmerman

| October 12, 2022 1:00 AM

North Idaho College plays a critical role in beautiful Kootenai County. It educates young and old alike. It employs many of our friends and neighbors. It enriches our community with lifelong learning opportunities. It supports the needs of the business community. It has a long-standing tradition of excellence in North Idaho until recent times, when the Kootenai County Central Republican Committee, an extremist group not representative of actual Republicans, took over three seats on its board.

I encourage those of you new to our area or those of you trying to figure out who should have your vote this November to do your homework and think critically. The welfare of NIC and that of our community is at stake. Please talk to your neighbors, watch past NIC Board meetings, and do your research. NIC is an important community asset and should be trusted to folks with integrity devoted to its mission. Join me in voting for Tarie Zimmerman, Brad Corkill and Pete Broschet. They are proven conservatives and longtime Kootenai County residents. They will continue to bravely right the ship despite Todd Banducci and Greg McKenzie, whose words, actions and falsehoods demonstrate a commitment to do the opposite.

Time and time again throughout history, we know that evil prevails when good folks fail to act. Let’s stand together to preserve this community gem so our neighbors, our children and our grandchildren can continue to benefit from its strong programs. Vote Zimmerman, Corkill and Broschet.
