NIC ELECTION: Vote Hartman, Sheridan, Waggoner

| October 12, 2022 1:00 AM

I’ve learned how important it is to not take “groups” at face value. Friends of NIC is a good example. Masquerading as good guys fighting to protect NIC, they hope you’ll believe that …” over the past year, outside influences have attempted a hostile takeover of the board, jeopardizing NIC’s accreditation and threatening enrollment…” Who are these outside influences, you ask? Is it George Soros? Is it Russia? Is it Black Lives Matter or Antifa? No, it is the two conservative trustees who were chosen by the voters of North Idaho to represent our “values” on the college board of governance. What are these values, you ask? Racism? Marxism? Communism? Wokeism? No, those are the values that have infiltrated our college over the past 10 years under the leadership of Christie Wood (now resigned) and her comrades, all thankfully gone. However, like a scary movie, more “bad guys” keep rising from the dead. The three new hostiles banging on the door, hoping to continue the mayhem, are all endorsed by Friends of NIC. There is only one way to bring peace and harmony to the board of trustees at NIC. End the chaos; elect the only three candidates who reflect the conservative values of the community. With a full board of five like-minded leaders, the college governance can focus on protecting academic freedom, promoting fiscal responsibility and providing appropriate higher education to equip (not indoctrinate) our young citizens. Vote Mike Waggoner, Diana Sheridan and Ron Hartman.
