Cd'A man killed in I-90 crash

COEUR d'ALENE – Idaho State Police are continuing to investigate a fatal crash that occurred Wednesday morning in Coeur d'Alene on Interstate 90.
At approximately 9:51 a.m., a 52-year-old man from Coeur d'Alene was traveling westbound in a Toyota Tundra near milepost 11 when he left the roadway and struck a jersey barrier on the roadside. The Tundra traveled down the barrier until coming to a stop and blocking the left westbound lane.
The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident, was taken to Kootenai Health and pronounced deceased.
The roadway was blocked for approximately an hour and a half to allow first responders to conduct a thorough investigation.
Next of kin have been notified.
