NIC ELECTION: Vote for Broschet, Corkill and Zimmerman

Please vote for Broschet, Corkill and Zimmerman for North Idaho College Trustees on Nov. 8. These three candidates, if elected, will ensure NIC is able restore a favorable accreditation status, continue to expand Workforce Training Opportunities and dual enrollment opportunities for high school students.

Broschet, Corkill and Zimmerman will also provide the support the college’s new president needs to be successful. President’s Swayne’s experiences as a U.S. Army officer combined with other civilian experiences has prepared him to lead the college and bring all opinions into the decision-making processes. I was fortunate enough to be able to serve on the presidential candidate screening committee last spring. After reviewing the candidate applications and participating in interviews, it was clear to me that Nick Swayne was the most qualified candidate to lead NIC into the future.

The election of Pete Broschet (Zone 5), Brad Corkill (Zone 2) and Tarie Zimmerman (Zone 1) will provide the systematic and respectful leadership the community, staff and most importantly the students deserve.
