Chorale Cd'A to present fall concert Oct 21, 22

Chorale Coeur d'Alene will present its fall concert "For the Beauty of the Earth" at 7 p.m. Oct. 21 and at 2 p.m. Oct. 22.

The concert is a celebration of fall and the Thanksgiving holiday. While audiences won't hear tales of turkey and pilgrims, they will hear music that ties the meaning of Thanksgiving to nature and how we give thanks for the beauty of the Earth at Thanksgiving. The 70-plus member chorale, with piano and brass, will sing a cornucopia of sacred music and American standards focused on these themes.

The concerts will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 812 N. Fifth St., Coeur d'Alene. Tickets are $25 general admission, $20 for seniors and military and $15 for students. Tickets can be purchased online at choralecda.com or at the door.

Chorale Coeur d'Alene has gathered singers from around the Inland Northwest for more than 20 years. It performs four concerts a year.
