Jacklin appointed to bankcda board of directors

Tag Jacklin has joined the bankcda board of directors.

“I am honored and excited to join the bankcda board. Community banking is integral to our local economy and I look forward to working with the leadership team to expand the bank’s presence and service capabilities throughout our community.”

Tag is a Post Falls native; he earned his bachelor of science degree in finance and economics from Tulane University and his MBA from Washington State University. After leaving the area for several years, he returned in 2016 to join the family business. Tag is a board member and president of Jacklin Land Company and Riverbend Commerce Park in Post Falls and a partner in Bighorn Ventures. He cumulatively manages approximately 600,000 square feet of leasable building space and 1,100 acres of land in varying stages of development across Kootenai County. Tag currently volunteers as a Board Director for the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce and as a Board Director and Treasurer for the Coeur d’Alene Area Economic Development Corporation (formerly Jobs Plus).

MoFi Recognizes Post Falls Banker for Contributions to Small-Business Community

Shane Coffey, Business Services Sales Representative at P1FCU in Post Falls, has been named MoFi’s North Idaho Small Business Lender of the Year for 2021. MoFi presents this award annually to its most prolific commercial and small-business lending partners.

Many successful businesses struggle to get the financing they need to grow. Coffey is recognized for helping connect North Idaho entrepreneurs with a resource to do just that — flexible, responsible capital that sees them through short-term growth needs and prepares them for a longer-term bank loan.

“I love my job helping clients as they build their businesses and better our community in the process,” said Coffey. “Sometimes, that means finding a tailored solution to support them while they prepare for a traditional bank relationship, and that’s when a resource like MoFi comes in. MoFi cares as much about helping my clients succeed as I do.”

MoFi is a nonprofit community-based lender that provides flexible, responsible capital to businesses that fall outside of traditional “bankability” at a moment in time.

New niche medical clinic opening

Northwell Medical Solutions will open today at 1025 W. Ironwood, Ste. 3 in Coeur d'Alene. The clinic will focus on specialty medicine for weight loss and men’s health.
