CHINA PROTESTS: Pray for those standing up for freedom

This is amazing!

For the first time since the Tiananmen Square Massacre of June 4-5, 1989, massive protests throughout urban and rural, coastal and interior China are taking place. In these protests, people are publicly calling for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and their Dictator Xi Jinping to step down.

What is amazing is that, since Tiananmen Square, the CCP has successfully deterred overt political protests through totalitarian surveillance, suppression and terror. Xi’s draconian “Zero COVID” policy, responsible for the deaths of thousands alone, seems to have sparked these heroic mass protests across the country.

It is not just college students, as in 1989. Across that long-enslaved nation, Chinese of all backgrounds have taken heart and are demanding freedom.

One early protester was repeating, “Give me liberty or give me death!” Not since the Tiananmen protesters erected their Goddess of Democracy have Chinese so blatantly stood up to their Communist captors.

Please, pray for them. The Butchers of Beijing have long promised themselves that they would unleash mass murder and war rather than give up power.

The Chinese people, and hopefully Chinese institutions, junior party members, and even the Peoples Liberation Army, might, by God’s grace, end what is by far the most evil and murderous regime in human history.

The bravery of these very everyday people is nothing less than magnificent. Tyrants and would-be dictators everywhere should remember that the urge for individual freedom and human dignity can and has changed the world. Let freedom reign!
