Worley Highway District Mica Creek Bridge Repair Solicitation for Bids PROJECT TITLE: Mica Creek Bridge Repair The Worley Highway District is requesting Bids for the Mica Creek Bridge Repair. Bids will be received by the Worley Highway District in Kootenai County, Idaho at 12799 W. Ness Road, Worley, ID 83876 until 2:00 pm local time on Thursday December 1, 2022. Bids hand delivered or mailed shall be delivered or mailed to the Owner, Worley Highway District at 12799 W. Ness Road, Worley, ID 83876, shall be clearly marked “Bid Enclosed - Mica Creek Bridge Repair”. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following work: Temporarily remove the existing 34-foot-long by 26-foot-wide bridge, install sheet pile retaining walls adjacent to each pile cap, backfill behind the sheet piles and reinstall the bridge. Best Management Practices (BMPs) are required per the project permit. Bridge surfacing removal and replacement, backfill material and backfill material haul will be performed by Worley Highway District. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. The Idaho Standards for Public Works Construction (ISPWC) 2020 Edition apply to this project except as modified by the Contract Documents. This project is not subject to Prevailing Wages and American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements.
