Florence Morrison, 92
Florence passed away peacefully Nov. 14, 2022, surrounded with love, just days after being diagnosed with brain cancer. Her battle was brief but she faced it with grace.
Florence Marion Sharpe was born Sept. 17, 1930, to Claude and Bessie Sharpe in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She was the youngest of two daughters. She attended Bible College, where she met and married Lorne "Ike" Morrison. She loved the Lord and was a devout Christian. Her family and friends were a big part of her life. Florence was a Red Hatter for several years and loved playing cards with her Shanghai card group.
She had three daughters: Debbie Hokel, Ginger Harmala, and Regine Hunt; 11 grandchildren: Matthew, Jake, Erin, Tara, Tiebe, Britnie, Donald, Joseph, Dolly, Lori and James; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by mother, Bessie; father, Claude; sister, Margaret; niece, Janice; brother, Warreck; daughter, Debbie; husband, Lorne; and beloved dog, Murphy. Florence is survived by daughters, Ginger and Regine, along with all her grandchildren, nieces and nephews — all of whom she loved so dearly.
In remembrance of Florence's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Yellowstone Boys & Girls Club Ranch Foundation, PO Box 80807, Billings MT 59108 (ybgr.org).
