APPLEBEE’S: Went the extra step for Veterans Day

On Veterans Day, honoring our veterans was done by many businesses in the Coeur d’Alene area, but we found one to be exceptional. Applebee’s has always honored the veterans with a free meal but this year they not only provided the meal, but they went one step further.

In their lobby as you entered the restaurant, they placed a POW/MIA Table. This table of remembrance and honor began after the end of the Vietnam War. It has an empty chair and is decorated with special symbols to honor our prisoners of war and missing comrades.

The caring they displayed in remembering those who have fought and died defending our liberty touched our hearts and we want to thank them for this special honor.
