Salvation Army Kroc Center’s Veterans Day Celebration | 10 to 11 a.m. at W. Golf Course Road, Coeur d'Alene. Free event for veterans and their families. Greeting by Youth Pathfinder Academy, reading of Preamble to the Declaration of Independence, performance by CYT, singing of national anthem, live music by Cd'A Brassx5, sing-along led by Uncle Sam. Complimentary coffee and doughnuts.

Summit Christian Academy’s Veterans Day Performance | 2:30 p.m. at 5350 N. Fourth St., Coeur d'Alene. Free for veterans and their families. Special performance honoring the service provided by the military to the nation. Donation bake sale before and after.

FRIDAY​

Mountainview Flag-raising Ceremony | 8:30 a.m. at Mountainview Alternative High School, 7802 Main St., Rathdrum. Followed by pancake breakfast at 9 a.m.

American Legion Post 14 Veterans Day Ceremony | 10:45 a.m., McEuen Park, Coeur d’Alene.

Killer Burger | 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Prairie Shopping Center, Prairie and U.S. 95, Hayden. Free burgers for veterans.

City of Hayden Veterans Day and Distinguished Veteran Ceremony | 11 a.m. at McIntire Family Park, behind City Hall, 8930 N. Government Way.

Sweet Lou's Veterans Dinner | Beginning at 11 a.m. at Sweet Lou's Restaurants in Coeur d'Alene, 601 N. Front St., Athol, 6915 E. Athol Crossing Road, Ponderay, 477272 U.S. 95. Free hand-cut, 6-ounce, USDA choice top sirloin with one side for all current and former members of the U.S. armed forces. Dine-in only. Must show valid military ID. Veterans Day only.

Idaho State Veterans Home Dedication ceremony | 2 p.m. at 590 S. Pleasant View Road, Post Falls. Gov. Brad Little and local dignitaries will attend. Ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by exclusive and limited tours of the building.
