Garasky, a junior, won the 100-yard butterfly and 100 backstroke, helping the Timberwolves’ girls claim a second straight team title at the state 5A swimming championship on Saturday at the West Valley YMCA and Boise Aquatics Center. Her time of 56.24 seconds broke the state record. “Gabby’s just a versatile athlete,” said Lake City coach Shelly Sobek of Garasky, who won the 100 freestyle as a sophomore. “She just has an ability to go where we need her and just perform.”
