Mighty Joan Marie Just, catalyst of the Jaeger and Just families, died peacefully early Sunday morning, Oct. 30, surrounded by loved ones.
Guided by fierce loyalty, she energized family and friends to experience their most fulfilling lives. A nature lover, conservationist, artist and activist, she spoke her mind and lived her principles.
She is survived by her husband, Wes, children Mike, Sarah and Leah, and a squad of grandchildren. We miss her laugh. The heartache is real.
Joan was an avid bird watcher and Audubon Society volunteer. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Audubon Society in her name.
