NEIGHBORHOOD OF THE WEEK: Hayden fills in at Carrington Meadows

The playground structure at the park area in Hayden’s Carrington Meadows is practically begging kids to channel their acrobatic, “Mission: Impossible” movies.
The park is an inviting introduction to the neighborhood, which is located just north of W. Hayden Avenue and east of Meyer Road. The family-friendly location is just a few blocks from Atlas Elementary, as well as a number of Hayden amenities, including Walmart, while still maintaining a quiet neighborhood vibe.
Viking Construction is the featured builder in Carrington Meadows, and the new homes include a variety of premium features in their base prices.
Nine different floor models are listed there, which can be explored further by clicking on the development’s page under the “Communities” tab at VikingHomes.com. The longtime local builder has several projects in North Idaho communities, including another just south of Carrington Meadows called Gianna Estates.
Floor plans range in size from a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with just over 1,400 sq. ft. all the way up to a four-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom plan with almost 3,300 sq. ft.
Nothing is currently active in Carrington Meadows, though a few pending properties are visible as “sold at the time of listing.” Those listed prices start in the high $400,000s for the homes on the smaller side of the scale and up in the mid-to-high $500,000s for the larger home plans.
