Firefighters complete paramedic school

Four Coeur d'Alene firefighters recently completed paramedic school.
Andy Goodsell, Travis Georgious, Ben Kaiser, and Morgan Zajicek finished the two-year program through the National Medical Education and Training Center. It consists of 1,500 hours of training, hospital clinical time and field internship.
The new medics will next complete a mentorship program with current paramedics and the county credentialing process before hitting the streets on their own.
