Lakeland schools announce new leader

RATHDRUM — Lisa Arnold will be the new superintendent of the Lakeland Joint School District. The district announced Monday afternoon that Arnold, Lakeland's current assistant district superintendent, accepted a three-year contract that will be effective July 1.

Arnold will replace Becky Meyer, who will be the Lake Pend Oreille School District's superintendent for the next school year.
