Hayden again reschedules kite festival

The Hayden Kite Festival has again been moved, this time to May 21.

Organizers cite a rainy and windless forecast as the reason for the postponement.

The annual festival will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Broadmoore Park, 2691 W. Broadmoore Drive.

Registration and kite flying will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Judging will be from 1:30-2 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony at 2:15 p.m.

Categories will include Best in Show, High Flyer, Best Homemade and more.

The Hayden Kite Festival is free and open to all ages.
