One car burns, another flips

COEUR d'ALENE - One car caught fire after crashing, and another flipped over in separate accidents on Thursday. There were no serious injuries.

Coeur d'Alene firefighters responded to Interstate 90, milepost 11, and found a vehicle that had struck the guardrail and caught fire.

The driver suffered minor injuries, while dogs in the vehicle were not injured, according to a press release.

Firefighters were later called to Government Way and Sunset Avenue for a multi-vehicle crash, and found a compact pickup on its roof.

The driver was able to get out of the truck and received minor injuries.
