HASZ: Big yes; Hart no

| May 13, 2022 1:00 AM

Probably like most people, I don’t pay as much attention to local elections as I should. This year is different for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, Mr. Bill Hasz is running for the District 2 Senate seat. I’ve known Bill for many years, and they don’t come better.

Bill is a fourth generation Idahoan, a University of Idaho graduate who has spent most of his career in the Idaho mining industry. He cares deeply about our country and Idaho’s conservative heritage. Checkout his podcast interview on the Coeur d’Alene Press website.

Secondly, Bill’s primary opponent, former state representative Phil Hart, is a nightmare. I just read a 2015 article from the Spokesman Review entitled, ‘Hart Settles Tax Dispute.’ The highlights were non-payment of income taxes, tax evasion, timber theft and “scandalous” information. Phil Hart had his chance, and he blew it in spectacular fashion.

Please vote for Bill Hasz on May 17 and send a message to Phil Hart, and others like him, that we hold our elected officials to a higher standard.
