SCHOOLS: Idaho needs Debbie

| May 11, 2022 1:00 AM

Debbie Critchfield has the vision, integrity and heart to lead Idaho’s students in the right direction. She has traveled throughout Idaho, meeting with parents and teachers to learn what they want and need to help students succeed.

Her vision for education focuses on skills and job-readiness. As a retired CPA, I feel that her proposal for a required financial literacy course for Idaho high school students is essential.

She will help guide schools to prepare our young Idahoans for Idaho careers, as well as develop independent and engaged citizens. Debbie’s experience is vast and exactly what we need in our superintendent.

She served on the Idaho State Board of Education for seven years, and was its president for the two years during the pandemic. She also chaired Governor Little’s K-12 Task Force in 2019. Debbie has the necessary relationships with fellow State Board members, legislators across Idaho (check out her legislative endorsements), business and community leaders across Idaho, school superintendents and trustees, as well as parents and teachers.

Please join me in voting for Debbie Critchfield to be our next Superintendent of Public Instruction for Idaho. Idaho Needs Debbie!
