Nate Pryor

New Mexico State men's basketball

Pryor, a 6-foot-3 junior guard who played two years at North Idaho College before transferring to Washington, started six of his 20 games in the Aggies lineup after battling injuries, averaging 2.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 18 minutes per game. Pryor had two points and four assists for New Mexico State (27-7) in a second-round loss to fourth-seeded Arkansas in the NCAA Tournament on March 19, after the 12th-seeded Aggies beat No. 5 UConn in the first round. Pryor has since entered the transfer portal.

Allison Kirby

Idaho women's basketball

Kirby, a 5-7 super senior guard from Timberlake High, averaged 31.9 minutes per game, scoring 8.2 points and grabbing a career-high 6.3 rebounds per game. Kirby had a career-high 19 points against Northern Iowa on Dec. 18, 2021 and had a career-high 16 rebounds against Montana State (16) in the semifinals of the Big Sky Conference Tournament on March 9. Kirby finished 10th in the nation in free-throw percentage (80 for 90 for 88.9%). For her career, Kirby finished with 583 points, 569 rebounds and 330 assists.

Brooke Jessen

Texas-Rio Grande Valley women's basketball

Jessen, a 6-foot freshman forward, appeared in 31 games, starting three for the Vaqueros (14-19), averaging 2.8 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. Jessen had a season-high 14 points and nine rebounds against Abilene Christian on March 9. Texas-Rio Grande Valley lost to Utah Valley in the quarterfinals of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on March 10.

Ridge Lovett

Nebraska wrestling

Lovett, a sophomore from Post Falls High, ended his run at the 2022 NCAA Wrestling Championships with a runner-up finish at 149-pounds, falling to Cornell's Yianni Diakomihalis 11-5 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Lovett was the first Husker finalist since Tyler Berger in 2019. Lovett, a 2019 graduate of Post Falls High, who went 169-0 as a Trojan, finished his sophomore year 28-4.

Braydon Huber

University of Mary wrestling

Huber, a 157-pound redshirt sophomore from Post Falls, opened his run at the Division II Championships with a pin and advanced to the quarterfinals before falling in his final two matches to finish the season with an 8-7 record.

Colby Gennett

Central Washington men's basketball

Gennett, a 6-4 freshman guard from Post Falls High, started 18 of 26 games for the Division II Wildcats (17-9) of Ellensburg, averaging 5.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.

Katie Fleming

Wenatchee Valley women's basketball

Fleming, a 5-9 freshman guard from Post Falls High, started all 25 games, averaging 11.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and five assists per game for the Knights (19-9). Fleming scored a season-high 26 points for Wenatchee Valley in a win at Big Bend on March 5. Wenatchee Valley advanced to the Northwest Athletic Conference Championships as the third seed from the East Region, falling in an opening round game to Whatcom 61-51 on March 19 at Everett Community College.

Jaelyn Brainard

Blue Mountain women's basketball

Brainard, a 5-9 freshman guard from Coeur d'Alene High, led the Timberwolves in scoring at 14.9 points per game, and also grabbed five rebounds per game. Blue Mountain finished 13-13, and did not qualify for the NWAC tournament. Brainard, who started all 23 games she appeared in, scored a season-high 29 points against visiting Columbia Basin in a 78-70 win on Jan. 22 in Pendleton, Ore.

Jaden Chavez

Blue Mountain women's basketball

Chavez, a 5-5 freshman guard from Coeur d'Alene High, averaged 6.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game for the Timberwolves in 22 games, 18 starts. Chavez scored a season-high 22 points in a 101-99 double overtime win at Yakima Valley on Feb. 21.

McKeeley Tonkin

Blue Mountain women's basketball

Tonkin, a 5-5 sophomore guard from Timberlake High, started all 25 games she appeared in for the Timberwolves, averaging 8.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.

Ryan Graves

Ellsworth wrestling

Graves, a 141-pound freshman from Post Falls High, went 2-2 at the NJCAA Tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on March 6 for the Pirates, who finished 10th. Graves won by medical forfeit to open the tournament, then lost by fall in the second round. Graves won 6-5 and 7-5 in the consolation rounds before being pinned to end his tournament.

Isaiah Laguna

Laguna, a 197-pound freshman from Post Falls High, went 2-2 in the NJCAA Tournament, winning twice in the consolation rounds.

Ethan Miller

Miller, a 184-pound freshman from Post Falls High, advanced to the NJCAA Tournament, going 0-2.

Lane Reardon

Reardon, a freshman from Post Falls, was named to the Academic All-Region team for the fall of 2021, finishing on the first team (GPA of 3.5 or higher).

RayQuan Evans

Florida State men's basketball

Evans, a 6-foot-4 senior guard from North Idaho College, scored a season-high 28 points for the Seminoles against Clemson on Feb. 15. Evans started 26 of 27 games this season, averaging eight points and 2.5 rebounds per game. Florida State finished the season 17-14 losing to Syracuse in the second round of the ACC tournament.

Alphonso Anderson

Pacific men's basketball

Anderson, a 6-6 guard/forward from North Idaho College, played in 30 games, starting 29 for the Tigers after transferring after two years at Utah State. Anderson recorded a career-high in scoring at 12.1 points per game and led the team in rebounding with 6.8 per game. Anderson scored in double figures 16 times during the regular season and had a career-high 26 points against Portland on Feb. 24 in Stockton, Calif. Pacific finished the season 8-24.

Sal Silva

Southeastern (Fla.) wrestling

Silva, who won the NJCAA championship at 149 pounds as a freshman at NIC, finished fifth in the NAIA Championships in Park City, Kan., on March 5. Silva finished the season 26-9.

Bella Murekatete

Washington State women's basketball

Murekatete, a 6-3 center from Genesis Prep Academy, averaged 10.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per game for the Cougars (19-11), who advanced to the NCAA Tournament, falling in the first round to Kansas State on March 19 in Raleigh, N.C. Murekatete scored a season-high 26 points in the season opener against San Jose State.

Rachel Schroeder

Lewis-Clark State women's basketball

Schroeder, a 5-8 guard from Genesis Prep, appeared in 31 games, starting two for the Warriors this season. Schroeder scored a season-high 12 points against Walla Walla on Feb. 8. Lewis-Clark State finished 25-8, falling in the second round of the NAIA Tournament to Wayland Baptist in Plainview, Texas.

Sara Muehlhausen

Lewis-Clark State women's basketball

Muehlhausen, a 6-3 junior post from Lake City High, started all 31 games for the Warriors, averaging 9.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Muehlhausen also had 65 blocked shots and 28 assists.

Heidi Sellman

Lewis-Clark State women's basketball

Sellman, a 5-11 senior post who played at North Idaho College, started in all 29 of her appearances for the Warriors, averaging 5.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.

Melody Kempton

Gonzaga women's basketball

Kempton, a 6-1 forward from Post Falls High, started every game for the Bulldogs (27-7) this season, logging 873 minutes. Kempton improved her points (10.9), assists (1.6), rebounds (6.2) and grabbed 215 total rebounds this season and had a career-high 25 points against Portland on Jan. 6 in Portland. In 125 games for Gonzaga, Kempton scored 909 points finished with 106 assists and 564 rebounds.

Dejah Wilson

Community Colleges of Spokane basketball

Wilson, a 5-7 sophomore guard from Lake City High, averaged 5.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game for the Bigfoot (15-10). Wilson was named to the Northwest Athletic Conference East Region All-Defensive team.

Brooklyn Rewers

Michigan State women's basketball

Rewers, a 6-4 freshman center from Lake City High, played a season-high 14 minutes, scoring four points against Indiana on Feb. 12. The Spartans finished 15-15, losing in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament to Ohio State.

Taryn Riley

College of Idaho women's basketball

Riley, a 5-3 guard from Timberlake High, scored a season-high 14 points against Warner Pacific on Feb. 14 and had season-highs in assists (7) and steals (4) against Corban on Jan. 28. Riley, the former Taryn Soumas, started the final 13 games for the Yotes (16-15), who fell to Lewis-Clark State in the opening round of the Cascade Conference Championships on Feb. 22 in Lewiston.

Phillip Malatare

Eastern Oregon men's basketball

Malatare, a 6-0 junior guard from North Idaho College, scored a season-high 29 points for the Mountaineers (18-13) against Whitman on Nov. 5. Malatare started 26 of 27 games, averaging 19.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Eastern Oregon lost in the opening round of the Cascade Conference Championships on Feb. 23 to Lewis-Clark State.

Ismael Valdez

Valdez, a 6-9 junior forward from North Idaho College, started 24 of 28 games for the Mountaineers, averaging 4.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.

Jonny Hillman

Carroll men's basketball

Hillman, a 6-2 junior guard from Genesis Prep, scored a season-high 12 points against Montana Tech on Feb. 10. Hillman started in 19 of 33 games for the Saints (29-5), finishing with six points and 2.5 rebounds per game and 71 assists. Carroll fell to the University of Jamestown in the second round of the NAIA Tournament on March 12.

Joey Naccarato

Naccarato, a 6-5 junior forward from Coeur d'Alene High and North Idaho College, appeared in 15 games for the Division II Hawks of Durango, Colo.

Bayley Brennan

Seattle Pacific women's basketball

Brennan, a 5-7 senior point guard from Post Falls High, scored a season-high 14 points for the Division II Falcons (12-18) on Nov. 27 against Westminster (Utah). Brennan appeared in 28 games, starting two, averaging 4.1 points and 1.2 rebounds in 18 minutes per game.

Edelblute, a redshirt freshman from Lakeland High, went 8-10, with four wins by decision for the Wolverines, who are in the Western Athletic Conference in most sports, but competes in the Big 12 Conference in wrestling.

Edelblute, a redshirt sophomore from Lakeland High, went 2-2 on the season for the Wolverines, winning one match by pin and another by major decision.

Esco Walker

Walker, a junior formerly of North Idaho College, beat defending champion Brandon Orum to win the 125-pound title at the NAIA Championships on March 5 in Wichita, Kan.

Casey Randles

Grand View wrestling

Randles, a senior from Coeur d'Alene High, beat Trenton Munoz of Hastings to win the 165-pound title at the NAIA Championships on March 5 at Wichita, Kan.

Kon Ajang

East Mississippi men's basketball

Ajang, a 6-9 freshman forward from Genesis Prep, appeared in 23 games, starting 16 for the Lions (21-7). Ajang finished the season with 70 rebounds for the Lions, who lost in the quarterfinals of the Region 23 Tournament and failed to receive an at-large bid to the NJCAA Tournament.

Jalen Skalskiy

North Idaho College men's basketball

Skalskiy, a 6-8 forward from Lakeland High, averaged 11.9 points and 6.7 rebounds per game for the Cardinals (20-7), who finished second in the East Region, but was ineligible for the conference tournament due to postseason sanctions.

Noah Haaland

Allan Hancock College men's basketball

Haaland, a 6-8 freshman who played high school basketball at Lakeland, but attended Classical Christian Academy in Post Falls, appeared in 27 games for the Bulldogs (17-10, a California Community College Athletic Association in Santa Maria, Calif., starting 25. Haaland averaged 7.1 points per game in 19.1 minutes, scoring a season-high 20 points at Santa Barbara on Feb. 12.

Garrett White

Vanguard men's basketball

White, a 6-4 senior forward from North Idaho Christian and the Community Colleges of Spokane, started in 21 of his 25 games this season, averaging a team-high 16.6 points. Vanguard (18-13) lost in the opening round of the NAIA Tournament to College of Idaho in Caldwell on Feb. 11.

Kiesbuy, a 6-7 freshman guard/forward from Lake City High, averaged 3.9 points and 1.6 rebounds per game for the Cardinals this season.

Emmit Taylor II

Taylor, a 6-4 junior from Lapwai High and North Idaho College, appeared in 23 games, starting two for the Bengals (7-23). Taylor's season-high was 17 points against Bethesda, Calif. on Dec. 18.

John White

White, a freshman from Lakeland High, went 16-23 for the Raiders this season. White went 0-2 at the Cascade Conference Championships on Feb. 19 in Havre, Mont., failing to advance to nationals.

Nolan Randles

Randles, a freshman from Coeur d’Alene High, went 7-9 for the Raiders at 165 pounds this season.

Laney Smith

North Idaho College women’s basketball

Smith, a 5-5 freshman guard from Post Falls, started in 14 of her 18 appearances for the Cardinals this season, averaging 5.3 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. NIC (14-11) lost in the opening round of the Northwest Athletic Conference Tournament.

Shanley, a 5-10 freshman guard from Lake City, appeared in 15 games for the Cardinals.
